Each Illinois State website includes a digital logo. This logo is an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) version of the University seal.
When possible, the digital logo also serves as a link back to a website's homepage.
Some websites use a PNG (Portable Network Graphic) digital logo. This pattern is no longer in use. The University Web office will update sites using PNG logos over time.
There are six SVG versions of the seal based on height and background color. Usage guidelines can be found on the University Marketing and Communications website.
If you need to use a digital seal, contact the WEB team.

This logo mimics the official print logo created by University Marketing and Communications. Campus partners are not allowed to create digital versions that don't exist in print without prior approval. A component for the full web logo is available in the Pattern Library.
Smaller versions of the University logo have been approved by University Marketing and Communications where the branding space is less than 50px high.
Logos utilizing the Reduced App Seal or Miniature Seal only have "Illinois State University" written out in a single line.
On newer web templates the minified logo is in the iGuide, with the full logo in the footer (as seen on My Illinois State).
